Kayla does terrific cuts using the razor method. My hair falls very nicely with the cut. She spends time evaluating before she starts.

I would recommend Avante to anyone who cares about the health and look of their hair. I have always had a pleasant experience at this salon. My stylist Carrie is a very talented woman. I will be a customer for life. I wish i could go to Avante more often, but my hair only grows so fast.

I have been going to this salon for years and I always leave feeling great about my cut. The staff and owner are always friendly, listen to what I want and make me look great every time. All the staff seem like genuinely nice people who like their work and strive to do the best for their customers. I always recommend this place to everyone I know.

I have been a very loyal and long time client of this salon and can tell you that after living in NYC for twenty years this salon puts Frederick Fekai to shame. When I moved to this area a friend told me about this salon and after my first trip, I knew I found not only a group of highly trained hair experts but also a dear group of friends. The staff is warm, friendly and most importantly talented and professional. I would like to comment about my wedding experience with the salon. I and my wedding party of 11 had our hair, makeup and nails done on Saturday, Oct 6, 2007 at Avante and without this salon and staff my wedding would not have been the same. When we arrived the owner prepared a table of breakfast goodies along with champagne, coffee, tea and juice. She also took the time to decorate the enire table in my wedding colors. I was shocked that she and the staff took so much time to prepare this special day for me and that brought me to tears. The day went on so smoothly that I was to be married at 5:00 and at 4:00 I was sitting in the Salon laughing and enjoying myself and looking incredible along with my entire wedding party. In fact, several of my friends have now gone there for hair color and cuts and also their weddings and have had the same experience. So girls, if you want to be sure to look incredible and be treated with "white gloves" make sure you visit this salon.

I never write poor reviews. Ever. Not worth my time. But my experience with Avante Salon was so awful that I felt the need to warn others out there to stay far away. Not only did the salon cancel my hair appointment less than 48 hours before my wedding day (which was scheduled months in advance with a 50% deposit) but the owner left me a nasty voicemail message to cancel the appointment and wrote a derogatory remark on my deposit refund slip, which left me in tears. The day before my wedding I am being insulted by a hair salon owner. I never knew that poor customer service also included blunt insults to your customers as well. I wouldn't trust this salon with my hair at all, let alone for a special event....so girls - if you're a bride or have something special coming up - don't depend on these guys. Stay far away!
